Recently relieved from StarNet, he agrees to captain a 'top-secret' mission to return a renegade pilot to justice.
Commander Richard Douglas
StarNet's former top Tactical officer, relieved of duty due to a minor psychotic episode a while back.
Lieutenant Michael Jones
The crew's Navigational (and Medical) officer, he has the long standing reputation of being StarNet's unluckiest officer.
Chase Ripley
He has stolen a StarNet ship and headed out into the galaxy. His objectives are unclear, but his destination is known all too well.
Background
The "Line"
An interstellar border that separates us from the Klik'Toh.
The Klik'Toh
A race of super-intelligent, highly stategic, violent beings who war as a means of entertainment. They do not negotiate.
And, they control the 'line'.
The Problem
Chase Ripley has crossed the'line'. Returning him to justice will mean crossing the 'line', locating and placing him into custody, and returning completely undetected.
The 'CGIS' project is designed as a means of entertainment for cast and crew, as well as audience. The emphasis will be placed on the characters and their reactions to the situations they find themselves in. The plot similarities to other shows or films may or may not be intentional. It is meant strictly for fun, and should be as entertaining to watch as it will be to make.
